RV

For our entire trip, we will be living in a 23-ft 1979 Dodge Edson Polar Edition Recreational Vehicle. It was built in North Battleford Saskatchewan in 1978, and before us, it had 3 different owners.

It sleeps six, and it's powered by a 440-cubic inch engine that gets somewhere around 10 miles per gallon. It features all of the amenities of a normal house ­ an oven, a fridge, a microwave, a tv, even a bathtub, albeit barely big enough for a 4 year old.

Ok, so it doesn't have some things a real house has. Like separate rooms or a washer/dryer. But it is a mobile home on wheels, and fulfills all of the needs we have for this trip.

We will be depending on it to take us roughly 5000km this winter, to 23 resorts, so wish us luck.
